Samsung Announced 3 New Galaxy Series Smartphone A7, A5, A3


Samsung has finally announced its second-gen Galaxy A7 (2016), Galaxy A5 (2016), Galaxy A3 (2016) smartphones. These smartphones come with improved hardware and design as compared to their predecessors. Samsung has also integrated fingerprint scanner in the Galaxy A7 (2016) and Galaxy A5 (2016) smartphones.

The new Samsung A series smartphones will be launched in China around mid-December and will expanded to global markets. In sync with the leaked images that we’ve come across earlier, all smartphones come with metal frame and glass back, similar to the Galaxy S6-family and the Galaxy Note 5, which were launched earlier this year. The bezels on the side of the screen are now narrower. As of now, there is no word on the pricing yet.

Samsung Galaxy A7 (2016) :- The handset boasts of a 5.5-inch Super AMOLED full HD (1080p) display with Corning Gorilla Glass protection. Under the hood is a 1.6GHz octa-core processor paired with 3GB of RAM, 16GB onboard storage and a microSD card slot.

For photography, the Galaxy A7 (2016) comes with a 13-megapixel rear camera with f/1.9 aperture and OIS (optical image stabilization) and 5-megapixel front camera with f/1.9 aperture. With a 3,300mAh battery, the smartphone also supports fast charging feature. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, NFC and dual-SIM 4G LTE. It runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop wrapped under Samsung’s TouchWiz UI.

Samsung Galaxy A5 (2016) :- The Galaxy A5 (2016) comes with a 5.2-inch full HD (1080p) display, which is an improvement over 5-inch HD (720p) on the first-gen Galaxy A5. It is powered by an octa-core processor paired with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of expandable storage.

In the camera department, you get a 13-megapixel rear snapper with OIS (optical image stabilization) and a front-facing 5-megapixel selfie camera. With 2,900mAh battery and connectivity options such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 4G, GPS and NFC, the handset runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop wrapped under Samsung’s TouchWiz UI. The handset will be available in single-SIM and dual-SIM variants.

Samsung Galaxy A3 (2016) :- The Galaxy A3 (2016) comes with noteworthy upgrades compared to its predecessor. While the Galaxy A3 came with a qHD display, the Galaxy A3 (2016) comes with a 4.7-inch Super AMOLED HD (720p) display. It is powered by a quad-core processor, 1.5GB or RAM and 16GB of expandable storage, which is the same as previous generation. Unlike the Galaxy A5 (2016) and Galaxy A6 (2016), the Galaxy A3 doesn’t come with a fingerprint scanner.

The cameras have been upgraded on the Galaxy A3 (2016) compared to its predecessor. The latest version has a 13-megapixel rear camera and 5-megapixel front facing unit. However, the OIS (optical image stabilization) is lacking here. With a 2,300mAh battery and such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 4G, GPS and NFC, the handset runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop wrapped under Samsung’s TouchWiz UI. The handset will be available in both, single-SIM and dual-SIM variants.
