Good News For IPhone Lover: IPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus have twice the RAM memory of iPhone 6

One of the iPhone secrets Apple almost never reveals is how much RAM memory its iOS devices have. The detail shouldn’t be that important to regular users, because Apple employs various ways that help it make the most of built-in RAM, with iPhones over outperforming same year Android rivals that might have significantly more RAM.
The same goes for the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus. Apple has not confirmed how much memory each device has, but a new finding from a developer brings further confirmation that 2015 iPhones have twice the RAM of their predecessor.

Hamza Sood, who has often revealed hidden details about unreleased iOS devices or versions, found in Xcode proof that the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus both come with 2GB of RAM on board. Comparatively, the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus have 1GB of RAM. The developer also says the bigger iPad Pro has 4GB of RAM under the hood, or twice what’s available in the iPad Air 2 and (presumably) on the iPad mini 4.
A few days ago, various emerged right after Apple’s event offering the same RAM details about the devices. Furthermore, the new Apple TV comes with 2GB of RAM as well, the report showed.
The RAM boost should further help Apple offer an even better iOS 9 performance when it comes to web browsing and app loading. Not to mention that the iPhone 6s family will have a slew of additional features that might require a boost in RAM in addition to a faster, more energy-efficient processor.
