Motorola’s upcoming Droid Turbo 2
The Droid Turbo 2 will be the successor to the original Motorola Droid Turbo. A new report from Phandroid says the new handset will include Moto Maker support for further customizing and a large capacity battery like its predecessor.
Motorola Droid Turbo 2 rumors and leaks are beginning to spread now that the Moto X Style has launched. According to recent leaks, the handset has code-name ‘Bounce,’ and leaks from @upleaks gave us some specs to expect beginning with a a 5.4-inch OLED display. Allegedly, the screen will be shatter-proof and feature a Quad-HD resolution. We are likely looking at the Snapdragon 810 chipset, 3GB of RAM, a 21MP rear-facing camera, a 5MP selfie camera and storage options beginning at 32GB. And of course, the large battery capacity that the Droid Turbo lineup is known for. Phandroid indicates this will be a 3,760mAh one. On top of this, users will get to further express themselves using Motorola’s customization tool called Moto Maker. Users can customize textures, colors, skins, engravings and more. It’s still unknown whether the handset will run Google’s new Android 6.0 out of the box. But time will tell.
The handset is expected to launch as a Verizon exclusive just like the Droid Turbo before it. We could see the handset announced on October 15, with a possible launch date of October 29. Anyone excited?

Dell XPS 12 2-in-1 Tablet Specs Leaks: 4K UHD Infinity Edge display, USB Type-C Port and Windows 10
One of the expected tablet of the year running Windows 10 OS – the Dell XPS 12 2-in-1 tablet will be launched in October; the tablet according to the Dell not only has an innovative design, it will also deliver the best 2-in-1 (tablet to Laptop) experience.
Previous rumours suggests the Dell XPS 12 2-in-1 tablet has a rotatable display but the listing only confirms it would have a display (around 12-inch range) with an UltraSharp 4K Ultra HD (3840 x 2160 pixels) resolution, uses Infinity Edge touch screen, 1200:1 contrast ratio, 400nit of brightness and 100% Colour Gamut – Adobe RGB.
The slate comes with a keyboard dock which connects magnetically to the tablet, USB Type-C and Thunderbolt 3 which is 8x faster transfer speeds than the USB 3.0. The front facing camera is a 5MP camera for crystal clear video conferencing and a main 8MP camera for sharp photos & videos.
he Dell XPS 12 2-in-1 tablet runs Windows 10 OS, a Dell Active Stylus and has up to 10 hours of battery life. The processor and memory information is not mentioned but it is expected to be powered by Intel’s Skylake series processor.
Windows 10 OS would ushers in features or functions such as Cortana, Microsoft Edge and Continuum while the Active Stylus from Dell (could be optional) is also available for input – be it Writing, Sketching or even Drawing.
It looks some every manufacturer is trying to make a Surface Pro 3 rival – Lenovo has the Ideapad MIIX 700 and Dell will soon have the XPS 12 2-in-1 which will both understandably run Microsoft’s Windows 10. But how do we explain the Apple iPad Pro with the Apple Pencil stylus similar to the Surface Pen?

Microsoft set to release the ‘Surface Phone’ in upcoming dates
Microsoft has been expanding, and it has been expanding quite rapidly. Off late the company has shown an active interest in the world of hardware, and they have started investing in that.
DON’T MISS: Microsoft Band 2 Leaked Images, Features Surface
The company has always had a foresight, and they knew it that computers as we know it are going to change in the years to come. They started off with Surface devices a few years ago, and today, the surface and surface pro devices are being touted as the device that will lead the world of computers into the future.
Microsoft has hit the sweet spot with the Microsoft Windows 10 OS, and the surface devices have become even more empowered after that. The company however has not been doing so well when it comes to their Microsoft Mobiles division.
Microsoft, in the recent past, has suffered several losses in the mobile phone division, especially after the whole Nokia deal fiasco happened, the company has suffered a loss of 7.6 Billion Dollars and has lost 7800 employees over the past quarters. However, they are now working their way forward and are expected to come out with a much better device – a windows phone that would be appreciated by the world at large.
This comes in a ‘surface phone’, which is quite an innovation compared from what the rest of the tech markets have been expecting Microsoft to do. Microsoft is now all set to come out with the surface series of phones, and these phones are expected to be some of the most powerful devices of all times.
The company plans to release the surface phones with the surface pen and mega feature. The Surface phone has been codenamed Project Juggernaut Alpha, and according to several leaks, it has a 5.5-inch display with QHD screen resolution. It is said to be powered by desktop class Intel Atom x3 (SoFIA) 64-bit processor.
The phone is expected to release with a 21-megapixel PureView Zeiss 6-lens primary camera, and an 8-megapixel Zeiss wide-angle shooter in the front. The surface phone is expected to come featuring the S Pen-esque Surface Pen in the box, along with USB Type-C port. It is expected that the device will feature 64GB and 128GB storage options with support for microSD card. Source: Therem

10 features the iPhone 6s and iPad Pro ‘stole’ from Android, Microsoft and others
#iPhone6s #iPadPro – 10 features the iPhone 6s and iPad Pro ‘stole’ from Android, Microsoft and others – “Stole” is a too strong word, but that’s what fans have been saying: Apple stole these features from Google, and vice-versa. That’s especially true in the mobile landscape where companies constantly copy each other, trying to come up with better hardware and software features for buyers.
Dynamic Wallpapers
Android has had animated wallpapers for years, users will say. They’re just called Live Wallpapers, and don’t have anything to do with user-taken photos.
Live Photos
Speaking of photos, Apple introduced its own GIFs. The Live Photos are interesting animations composed of pictures, videos and sound, which obviously makes them more than GIFs. But to many, they’re pretty much just Zoes, which were created by HTC years ago for its own devices.
More Megapixels
Yes, Android devices had more megapixels in their rear and front cameras since forever, but that never helped them top Apple when it comes to camera performance. For the first time in years, Apple updated both cameras to 12 megapixels and 5 megapixels, while making additional improvements which will likely turn the iPhone 6s into one of the best cameras you can buy.
Front-facing flash
Not many phones have a front-facing flash. The iPhone 6s doesn’t have a real flash either on the front of the phone, but the Retina display lights up when selfies are taken at night. Of course, Apple can thank Snapchat for laying the foundation for this feature.
4K video recording
Apple’s new iPhones can record 4K video, though you might not really need it. Obviously, they’re not the first ones to do it, as Android devices beat them to it.
2GB of RAM
Apple never bothered with the “more RAM” competition either, choosing to optimize iOS instead of expanding memory. However, with the iPhone 6s it had to increase the RAM to handle certain features. Android fans will tell you they’ve had plenty of RAM for years. But sometimes not even 3GB of RAM will suffice – just ask TouchWiz fans.
Hey Siri
Always-on listening features are coming to the iPhone 6s series, but they’ve been around the block already, with Motorola making a big deal of the Moto X’s always-on listening capabilities. Google Now has a similar feature that can be used on many modern Android phones.
Stylus support
Yes, the iPad Pro has a stylus, something Galaxy Note phablets and tablets had for years. Microsoft made its own stylus for the Surface tablet as well. But Apple’s is a different kind of device, one that intros the company’s own take on this particular technology. Oh, and it’s called a Pencil.
Split-view multitasking
Running two apps at once is something not all iOS devices will be able to do. In fact, only the iPads that will get this great feature. But Samsung’s Note phablets and tablets have had split-screen apps for years.
Apple iPad Pro + Smart Keyboard = Microsoft Surface + Type Cover?
Yes, Microsoft was the first to come up with a tablet and keyboard combo that targeted business users and casual Windows users, and now Apple is doing the same thing. The difference is that Apple isn’t running its desktop OS on its Surface-like tablet, the iPad Pro. Still, it’s very easy to see where Apple found its inspiration. Source: Bgr

Microsoft ‘Surface Phone’ with Windows 10 Mobile OS – Know the Specs and Expected Date of Release
Microsoft ‘Surface Phone’ with Windows 10 Mobile OS – Know the Specs and Expected Date of Release – For a company which has traditionally been the undisputed, unchallenged leaders when it comes to the software and OS markets, it is a strange move to suddenly invest heavily in the hardware business.
It is a logical move by Microsoft to invest in the future, but as of now it seems to be quite a futile effort as the company has been bleeding out money quite frequently. Microsoft, over the past one year has bled out close to 8 billion dollars in the Microsoft Mobiles business and has lost close to 8000 employees too.
Ever since they acquired Nokia, Microsoft has been facing a downward spiral in the mobile phones sales. The company has not backed down and is trying even harder to bounce back into the markets. Microsoft, as we mentioned earlier, is not taking a traditional route, but off late, that is exactly what the company has been doing – it comes out with a brand new OS that is not traditionally charged to the users, and is free of cost.
It comes with a whole new interaction technology where you need not type your inputs! The world of tech is changing rapidly and Microsoft is leading this change to a great extent. With their surface and surface pro series of tablet devices doing quite well in the markets, Microsoft has been inspired to work even better and even harder than ever before.
The company has tried their best and has managed to break all barriers with the surface devices and has made $888 million in profits as per the last quarterly report. Microsoft is all set to come out with the surface phones, and these phones are expected to be some of the most powerful devices of all times.
The company plans to release the surface phones with the surface pen and mega feature. The Surface phone has been codenamed Project Juggernaut Alpha, and according to several leaks, it has a 5.5-inch display with QHD screen resolution.

Xiaomi’s fitness Band at $16 (Rs.1050)
#Xiaomi’s much-speculated second wearable device is now official, after the Chinese company unveiled the Mi Band Pulse.
A report from Canalys earlier this year speculated that the Mi Band, the company’s debut wearable, made Xiaomi the world’s second largest seller of wearables behind only Fitbit. That was before the Apple Watch went on sale, of course, but this follow-up builds on that potential.
Beyond tracking your steps and sleep, alarms and some notifications, the Mi Band Pulse includes a heart rate tracker, as previously speculated. That addition — the device uses PPG to measure your heart rate — has made it slightly larger than its predecessor. The original Mi Band took a little time to add iPhone support, but Xiaomi’s website confirms that the wearable will work with both Android (4.4 or later) and iOS (iPhone 4S / iOS 7.0 upwards) from the get-go.
Most importantly, the device has retained a low price tag. That’s 99 CNY, or around $15, this time around. The original Mi Band will still be available for those seeking something more basic, with a slightly lower price of 69 CNY, or around $11.
Fans of Xiaomi and its low-priced tech gadgets may be disappointed to hear that the wearable will go on sale in China only initially, as part of the country’s massive 11/11 Singles Day online shopping festival.
Xiaomi told us that it doesn’t yet have anything to say about international sales. However, we expect the Mi Band Pulse to be available outside of China soon, since the Mi Band itself retails in India, Europe and the U.S. too via Xiaomi’s global Mi.com store.
I bought a Mi Band recently as an inexpensive way to test whether fitness tracking is something that I want to take seriously. With the addition of a heart rate tracker, Xiaomi just made dabbling in this area more compelling — although we haven’t tested the Mi Band Pulse out yet.
