Nmap network scanning. scan speeds on windows are generally comparable to those on unix, though the latter often has a slight performance edge. every stable nmap release comes with windows command-line binaries and associated files in a zip archive.. Open command prompt , type ipconfig command and press enter . when you run this command, windows displays a list with all the network devices found on your system and their ip addresses. you also get details like the default gateway, subnet mask or the state of the network adapter..
